2D PAPER CUT ART WORK .
IN CLASS ACTIVITY
HAIIII! this is another paper cut art work post. slightly different then the previous one .
this is all about 2D .
things required for this activity are : pen knife , cutting mat, lots of papers (colored ones) , amazing and creative patterns and FUN!
this is my in class work .
I used pink and yellow combination. as those were the only 2 colour papers i had in class. i decided to make cheese like a design for pink and flowers for yellow. yes yes ! i know yellow colour is for the cheese . but hey , playing safe isnt what designers do! and instead of using black side of the mounting board, i used the other side of it . To see how it would look like with a white background.
however , my learning outcome from this activity was , freely experiment .pasting should have been abit more in alignment.
ASSIGNMENT 1 - 2D paper cut art
so we had an assignment to do , after the class activity . *oh nooo!
since its the lover's month , i chose the theme ''hearts'' .
we are required the same materials as mentioned above.
This picture shows a symmetrical art , it basically means, balanced on both sides. I used red color in order to complement it with black . Also that , the design used is a random design in order to get the shape of the heart.
This picture shows asymmetrical art work which means not balanced, I used green as it is a complementary color of red as per the color wheel and also to complement it with the black background . the design for it is very simple, something like hearts flying away from a box , showing motion.
My learning outcome was , before pasting any of your work , play around with the materials to get the best piece of work, can be done by placing them in different places on the mounting board and taking pictures which later can be viewed and best can be chosen .
